KOBY ISOGARD

For plantar fasciitis that has not responded and has persisted for several months, it is likely that the fascia band is now thickened.  The previous acute inflammation has become chronic and unresponsive to treatment.  A special instrument has been developed that can release the plantar fascia.  In a ten-minute surgery that has very little recovery, the fascia is released.  Immediate walking is allowed.  The two sutures are removed in about a week.  Dr. Young has offered this procedure since 2004 with complete relief of plantar heel pain in nearly every case.
