What is Wellness?
Wellness is the ability to live life to the fullest. Physical wellness results from your choices regarding prevention and early prudent treatment of problems. In our practice, wellness concepts include treatments that enhance your ability to remain active, able to work, walk, exercise. Our goal is for you to be mindful of your foot health so that you can forget about your feet and enjoy your life. Having foot pain with every step affects your daily activities. Nutrition, shoe styles, hygiene are important in your overall health. Podiatric medicine has always emphasized the importance of prevention an early detection and treatment of foot problems, even before Halbert Dunn coined the term wellness in 1961. Dr. Young stays current with the newest information and treatments but incorporates them with time honored podiatric medicine and surgery.
